Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using PeptShop you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use PeptShop.

2. Research use only

PeptShop is a marketplace for research-use-only products. By using the service you confirm that you will use all purchased products solely for legitimate in-vitro research, laboratory, or educational purposes in compliance with all applicable laws. See our Disclaimers.

3. Accounts

  • Buyers are not required to create an account to place an order. A guest email is required for order communication.
  • Vendors must create an account, complete identity verification, and agree to the Vendor Addendum before listing products.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Use a unique password and enable two-factor authentication if available.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Orders & payment

  • All prices are listed in USD. Crypto payment amounts are computed at the time of checkout based on the live exchange rate from our payment processor.
  • Payment is considered complete when the transaction is confirmed on-chain per the processor’s confirmation policy.
  • Orders are non-cancellable once payment is confirmed, except as required by law or by our dispute policy.
  • If a vendor cannot fulfill an order, the buyer receives a full refund.

5. Shipping & risk

Each vendor ships from their own facility using their chosen carrier. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer when the carrier accepts the package. PeptShop is not liable for carrier delays, misdelivery, or damage in transit; those claims are between buyer and vendor (or carrier).

6. Disputes

If something goes wrong with an order, open a dispute from the order page. PeptShop will mediate between buyer and vendor. Resolution may include a full or partial refund, a replacement, or a release of funds to the vendor, depending on the evidence. Dispute decisions are final within the platform.

7. Vendor obligations

  • List only products you have in stock and can ship within the stated handling time.
  • Provide accurate purity claims and CoA documentation for every batch.
  • Honor orders accepted on the platform — refusing a paid order without cause is grounds for suspension.
  • Respond to buyer messages within a reasonable time (default: 48 hours).

8. Prohibited conduct

  • Misrepresenting identity, location, or product contents.
  • Listing products that are not actually in your possession.
  • Coaching buyers to leave fake reviews or to open fraudulent disputes.
  • Using the platform to facilitate off-platform transactions to avoid fees.
  • Any activity that violates applicable law.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraud, or poses a risk to other users. Suspended vendors are still liable for in-flight orders. Buyers with active orders retain access to dispute and message features for those orders.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
